Ron Weinland is drunk on his delusions...

Ron Weinland is a FALSE PROPHET and illegitimately claims to be one of the Two Witnesses. I read his book, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt (not about his wild claims to be one of the two witnesses but just for basic biblical knowledge every minister in God's Church ought to have and share), and it's nothing but truth mixed with error, just like the pagans have always done.

Ron Weinland goes off the deep end, however, with his vain attempt to spiritualize everything away that disagrees with his perverted interpretation of things, and while trying to act like an expert on Hebrew and Passover proves just the opposite:

For Judaism, the real basis of the problem and great false teaching is this: Judaism claims to truly follow the God of Abraham, but doesn’t observe Passover as God instructed in Leviticus 23, “In the fourteenth day of the first month at even (Heb. “between the evenings”–ben ha arbayim) is the Lord’s Passover” (Lev. 23:4). Instead, Judaism observes Passover after the fourteenth day, on the beginning of the fifteenth, which is the first day of Unleavened Bread—a High Day—an annual Sabbath. But God clearly says it is to be observed in the fourteenth day (2008 - God's Final Witness, p. 40).

It is the Church of God that has been in traditional error about the proper dates for Passover and Pentecost, and yet some have the chutzpah to tell the Jews - to whom these things were given (the Oracles of God) - they are wrong.

Ron Weinland teaches the damnable heresy that Jesus Christ has not existed  eternally:

But there is only one eternally-existing member of Elohim and that is the ETERNAL ONE (Yahweh). Mr. Armstrong was never able to come to understand this about God. (2008 - God's Final Witness, pp. 204, 206).

Here is Ron Weinland's dangerous lie about being one of the two witnesses:

"I am to announce, through God’s direct revelation, that I am one of those two witnesses. The other witness will be revealed to the world during the time of the great tribulation—within the final three and one-half years of man’s era" (Weinland, Ronald. 2008 - God's Final Witness. He contradicts himself because now he bizarrely claims his wife is the other witness!

    Having said that, more will be said in the months to come, but now is the time to publicly reveal the name of the second end-time witness. It is my wife Laura. We are a family through whom God will be working to bring an end to this age and setting the stage (and much more) for the age to follow. Many will mock and ridicule, but as we go forward, this time God will place fear in those who mock Him and His servants. Power has been given to make this so."

Weren't we warned about such false prophets out to steal a following for themselves? How deaf, dumb and blind can those folks be to just sit there and not at least ask, in all sincerity, "WHY do you think you're one of the Two Witnesses?" Not just taking his word for it like good cult members. And seeing the errors in his work (it's not the Work of God), folks ought to flee such Babylon and avoid it like the plague. But then brethren in the Philadelphia Church of God continue to let Gerald Flurry accumulate lofty titles to himself...

May such folks REPENT and come back down to Earth and support God's Work that prepares to return to Jerusalem where it all began.
